এ প্রবন্ধ অতি দীর্ঘ হইয়া গেল, এইবার শেষ করি। জানি না, পুরুষ এই প্রবন্ধ পড়িয়া কি মনে করিবেন, কিন্তু যাহা সত্য বলিয়া অকপটে বিশ্বাস করিয়াছি, নারীর মূল্য কেন হ্রাস পাইয়াছে এবং বাস্তবিক পাইয়াছে কি না, এবং মূল্য হ্রাস পাইলে সমাজে কি অমঙ্গল প্রবেশ করে এবং নারীর উপর পুরুষের কাল্পনিক অধিকারের মাত্রা বাড়াইয়া তুলিলে কি অনিষ্ট ঘটে, তাহা নিজের কথায় ও পরের কথায় বলিবার চেষ্টা করিয়াছি—এইমাত্র। তাহাতে শাস্ত্রের অসম্মান করা হইয়াছে, কি হয় নাই, দেশাচারের উপর কটাক্ষ করা হইয়াছে, কি হয় নাই—এ কথা মনে করিয়া কোথাও থামিয়া যাইতে পারি নাই। যাহা সত্য তাহাই বলিব এবং বলিয়াছিও, অবশ্য ফলাফলের বিচার-ভার পাঠকের উপর।
